Even More

Moxie

Kristin Giese, 44, founded all moxie in the fall of 2002 at the age of 26 in Chicago, IL.

Born and raised in Shelby, Ohio, Kristin began her career a few years prior in Cleveland, working as the publicity director for the Cleveland, Improv. An “A” room, the comedy club hosted the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock and many more. Kristin cut her PR teeth booking some of the biggest names of comedy for their shows and press tours while there. At the urging of the comics, who regularly told her she should move to LA or NYC and do PR for talent, Kristin first leapt to Chicago where she began a two-year stint at a large agency in the city heading up their hospitality, nightlife, and restaurant divisions. It was there, while representing Wolfgang Puck and his Spago properties, that Kristin hatched the idea for her own agency.

She put out her all moxie shingle two years later and signed dozens of clients to her roster, including interior designer Nate Berkus, celeb fitness expert Harley Pasternak, and shoe designer Brian Atwood. All Moxie quickly grew from just PR to include talent management and Kristin was suddenly negotiating and closing multimillion-dollar book, product, TV, and integrated marketing deals for the clients she represented. Specifically though, it was her time representing Berkus that had the largest impact on her career trajectory. Kristin spent the first 15 years of her business building the Nate Berkus brand to a 150Million dollar level, orchestrating partnerships with HARPO & “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” Linens N Things, HSN, Target, NBC, OWN, TLC, and so many more, as well as moving her business to NYC to launch a nationally syndicated talk show the pair sold to HARPO in the fall of 2010. Collectively she has produced hundreds of hours of TV, serving as a consulting producer on the talk show and now as an EP on Nate & Jeremiah by Design on TLC, a show Kristin created for the duo, and is heading into its third season.

Current projects and clients include Tonya Harding and Jenni Pulos as well as a host of talent in the lifestyle arena including personalities from The Bachelor franchises. She has concurrent projects in the works with her talent and P&G, Disney, GMC, Grammys, Capital One, Kotex, Tampax, Hilton, and many more. Additionally, Kristin continues to be a prolific reality producer with three development deals in place for shows she has created or is collaborating on and is a first-time author with her recent debut novel Unverified, a soapy, sudsy rom com.

She resides in Los Angeles with her dog Merna and admittedly owns more costume jewelry, hats, and kimonos than any one girl should.
